Q: What time is check in? A: You can check in from 3pm CST.  Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day to accommodate late arrivals. No need to rush!

Q: What time is checkout? A: Checkout is at 1pm CST.

Q: How old must I be to reserve a room at La Brisa Loca? A: Guests must be at least 18 years of age to book a room. We discourage minors at La Brisa Loca as there are two bars and guests are often relaxed with a drink in one of our many lounge areas. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and booked in a private room.

Q: Where is La Brisa Loca located? A: In the heart of the historic center of Santa Marta. Our address is: Calle 14 #3-58 (Carrera 3), Centro Historico, Santa Marta, Colombia (near Plaza San Francisco)

Q: How close is La Brisa Loca to the beach? A: Two (short) blocks! Beach towels are available at the front desk upon request.

Q: How do I get to La Brisa Loca? A: Please see our Getting Here section for detailed information from most popular origins.

Q: Does La Brisa Loca provide parking? A: There’s no private parking on-site. There is street parking, but we don’t recommend it unless you are familiar with the area and have a registered car and understand the city’s parking regulations. There are parking lots scattered around the city.

Q: Does La Brisa Loca serve breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? A: Complimentary coffee is available from 8-2pm. Rum Junkies, our second floor bar, offers an extensive breakfast menu from 8am-2pm. Our Lunch menu is served from noon-8pm.

Q: Does La Brisa Loca provide lockers? A: Yes, each dorm has individual, large, in-room lockers that fit most travelers’ backpacks or luggage.  Most of our rooms also come equipped with individual electronic safes with internal plugs to charge your devices and store your valuables securely.  If you have larger items such as a computer you would like stored in a safe, reception will gladly store it for you.

Q. Can I store my bags at La Brisa Loca while I go on a tour/short trip? A. Yes, we offer bag storage on the second floor next to our Rum Junkies bar.  You can obtain a luggage tag to increase security of your bag at the bar.

Q: When does the pool open/close? A: The pool at La Brisa Loca is open from 10am-10pm every day.

Q: Does La Brisa Loca have WiFi? A: Yes, and it’s always free. The password is “guest; guest”.

Q: What kinds of activities/events are available at La Brisa Loca? A: For info on the latest hostel happenings check our activities calendar in the lobby or check us out on Facebook.  Also, feel free to stop by the front desk to learn more about what’s going on at La Brisa Loca.

Q: Is there a guest kitchen? Am I able to bring groceries? A: Yes and yes! The guest kitchen is open 24 hours a day. Suites are equipped with a mini fridge.
